Liquid Ice 500 ml with pump sprayer on a dark background

How it works

Spray it on. Put it on.
Stay cold.

The cold comes from evaporation. Ready to use, straight from the bottle.

How Liquid Ice cools

One liquid, three ways to wear it: from the liquid to the evaporation to the measurement.

The liquid

A liquid. Not a cream, not a gel.

Liquid Ice is a clear liquid, not a cream and not a gel. Sprayed generously onto a shirt or band, or soaked into a bandage, it takes heat away from the skin as it evaporates.

What that means for you

  • No ice, no fridge, no power
  • The full INCI list is on the label

Evaporation
03 · Heat goes Evaporation takes heat away from the skin 02 · Evaporate The liquid leaves the fibres as vapour 01 · Soak The fabric holds the liquid Skin Schematic illustration

Cools like sweat: by evaporation.

Liquid Ice contains alcohol and menthol. The alcohol evaporates faster than water and takes heat away from the skin as it goes. Worn on fabric, Liquid Ice cools longest.

That is why the bottle doesn’t need to be cold.

How it works

  • Soak: the fabric takes up the liquid.
  • Evaporate: it leaves the fibres as vapour.
  • Heat goes: evaporation takes heat away from the skin.
On the shirt
Spray on generouslyThe fabric turns dark: soaked

Spray it generously onto your shirt.

Onto tight-fitting clothing or a wristband. A compression shirt works too. Fabric holds the liquid, so that is where it cools longest.

What matters

  • Tight-fitting: the fabric sits on the skin
  • Spray generously, not just a whiff
  • A light mist on a shirt wears off sooner. When it warms up, just spray again.

Worn on the wrist.

Spray the terry band generously, put it on, carry on. The cooling starts straight away.

What matters

  • Terry holds the liquid
  • Soaked well, it lasts longest
  • Spray again any time

Soaked, wrapped, measured.

This is exactly how it was measured: on the soaked bandage. The Self Cooling Bandage: 360 ml of Liquid Ice and an elastic bandage (2 m, 4 m stretched). Cools and compresses in one. For on the go there is the Active Ice Bandage: a pre-soaked bandage in its pouch.

Measured

  • Measured on the soaked bandage: 5.8 °C cooler skin.¹
  • Still cooling after two hours.¹

In three steps.

Spray on generously. Onto tight-fitting clothing or a wristband. Put it on, carry on. Training, work, the sidelines: you just keep going. Spray again whenever you want. On a shirt it cools as long as the fabric stays damp. The soaked bandage was measured by Dermatest: still cooling after two hours.

Good to know

  • Don’t spray large areas of bare skin
  • Avoid contact with eyes

How long does Liquid Ice cool?

On clothing, it cools as long as the fabric stays damp. Spray again whenever you want more. The soaked bandage was measured by Dermatest: still cooling after two hours.

Do I need to chill the bottle?

No. It cools by evaporation, not by stored cold. Keep it at room temperature, no freezer needed. Keep the bottle and can closed.

Does it go on my skin?

It’s made for fabric. A tight shirt, jersey or wristband holds the liquid against your skin, so it cools longer. Don’t spray large areas of bare skin and keep it away from your eyes.

Why not just water?

Liquid Ice contains alcohol, which evaporates faster than water, and menthol, which feels cold the moment it lands. On fabric it lasts longest.

What is in it?

A clear liquid that cools as it evaporates. The full ingredient list is on the label. Liquid Ice is a cosmetic product.

How fast does it arrive?

Ships from Klosterneuburg in 1–2 working days. Arrives in 2–4 working days in Austria and Germany, 2–7 in the rest of the EU.
