Leipert Motorsport: up to five Lamborghinis, one crew, 50 litres of Liquid Ice
A race team from Wegberg, up to five cars in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, and 50 litres of Liquid Ice by the canister.
Leipert Motorsport, a team from Wegberg in Germany, races in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, Lamborghini’s one-make series. In August 2026 the team ordered Liquid Ice: 50 litres in two 25-litre canisters, plus spray bottles. It is used for drivers and crew.
The team
In 2026 Leipert is running up to five cars in the Super Trofeo Europe. In January the team took the class win at the Dubai 24 Hours, defending its title. In June it took pole position and the win at Spa.
The Super Trofeo is no Sunday drive. It runs on major European circuits over six weekends, each with two 50-minute races and a mandatory pit stop. The season ends with the World Final. The series often runs alongside major events; at Spa, for example, on the weekend of the 24-hour race.
Hot, even on cool days
A race weekend runs hot even when the weather doesn’t, because on top of fireproof overalls, helmet and gloves come the asphalt and the pit lane. Heat costs concentration, and concentration is the one resource you can’t refuel during a race.
Liquid Ice works on a simple principle. The liquid is sprayed onto close-fitting clothing or carried in a soaked bandage. On the fabric it evaporates and takes heat from the skin with it. It needs no battery and no cooling unit, and there is no cable snaking across the paddock.
The team told us after ordering that it planned to take the spray bottles to the races in Barcelona and Monza.
Not our first racing team
Leipert is the latest name in a long line. In 2017 a Formula 1 team ordered Liquid Ice, and three-time Le Mans winner Marcel Fässler wore our shirt.
Why canisters
A race team needs resupply. You refill the spray bottles from the canister as often as you need to, at the track or back at the workshop, and that is exactly why Liquid Ice comes in 25 litre canisters for teams.
Canister, bottle or bandage: Liquid Ice is the liquid, and the rest is just the form it takes on its way to the fabric. The same liquid a race team draws from the canister is in the bottle for your kit bag.
Teams, clubs and companies can find canisters for professionals here. Everyone else: the 500 ml bottle and the Refill.
