Soak it in the can, wring it out over the can (moist, not dripping wet), wrap it tightly, tuck the end in firmly at the top. The can stays at room temperature. An independent lab measured the soaked bandage.

How to use

  1. Soak: soak the bandage thoroughly in the can.
  2. Wring out: over the can, so the leftover Liquid Ice runs back in. The bandage should be moist, not dripping wet.
  3. Wrap: tightly, in a spiral from bottom to top, slightly overlapping. Tuck the end in firmly at the top so the bandage holds. Still cooling after two hours.
  4. Re-use: roll up the dry bandage, dip it in the can, wring it out, wrap it on again.

Never cover or tape over the soaked bandage. It needs air to evaporate.

Always keep the can tightly closed so the liquid doesn’t evaporate.

Bandage care: wash at 30 °C · no tumble dryer · hang to dry · roll up when dry. Washing restores its full stretch.

What the lab measured, over two hours

  1. After 5 minutes: in all 20 people, the skin under the bandage was cooler than at the start.
  2. After 60 minutes: skin 5.8 °C cooler on average, the largest drop measured.
  3. After 120 minutes: in all 20, the skin was still cooler than at the start.

FAQs

Can I spray the bandage instead?

No. A bandage is always soaked in the can, never sprayed. That’s how it was measured.

How long does it cool?

Dermatest measured the soaked bandage for two hours: in all 20 people, the skin under it was still cooler than at the start. To cool again, dip it in the can, wring it out and re-apply.

Can I wear clothes over it?

Leave it uncovered. It cools by evaporation and needs air, so never cover or tape over it.

Where do you ship, and how fast?

To Austria, Germany and the rest of the EU. It arrives in 2–4 working days in Austria and Germany, 2–7 elsewhere in the EU. Free shipping from €80 (AT), €99.90 (DE), €79 (EU).

What if it’s not for me?
